1. Write a headline for your article and 2-3 paragraphs of body text in the text box with two-columns.
- Uncheck Hyphenate check box in the Paragraph panel
- Make Space After Paragraph 0.125” in the body copy
2. Make a Drop Cap:
- Position the pointer in the paragraph to which you want to add the drop cap.
- On the control bar at the top, open the tools dedicated to the paragraph, and click on the icon ‘Drop Cap Number of Lines’
- Enter number 2 (or 3)
3. Make a Pull Quote:
- Choose the most important sentence in your article
- Create a text frame with the Type tool, then enter and format the text for the quote.
- Switch to the Selection tool.
- In the Text Wrap panel, click the Wrap Around Bounding Box button and set the desired offset in the paragraph panel
4. Find and download a relevant image.
- Place it into your InDesign page
- Wrap it in the same way as the Pull Quote
Important: always keep an image with the InDesign file.
